Matthew had his first day of kindergarten today. He was awesome, he seemed a little nervous last night, but today he did great. I on the other hand was not that great, but I did well too I think.
These next four were taken Friday when we dropped off the school supplies.
Our group ready to walk to school. On the way there a crossing guard talked to us and wished Matthew a good year. When we walked away he asked me if we knew her. I explained we would probably be seeing her everyday.
She missed her big brother. When he got home she told him she had to play on the swing set by herself because he wasn't there.
He was one of the first with a thumbs up that they were ready to go in.
While we were waiting Molly told us that when we look for Matthew look for a boy in a blue shirt. Being picked up.
He said he had a good day and is ready to go back tomorrow. He remembered the books the teachers read, and was very excited they got to start their own book. He remembered two kids names and said they played blocks. All in all a good first day.
