Last week was zoo week. A favorite of mine because I love going to the zoo and animals.
Here we are making an animal alphabet book with hand prints.
Max joined in for the caterpillar
All three of them did the penguins
Sorting animals by habitat
Backyard safari
Molly was adorable, every time she saw an animal she would put her binoculars up to her eyes to look at it.
Q-Tip zebra painting
We had to keep reminding Molly zebras have stripes.
Matching beginning letter sounds
Duck art
Making monkey bread
Making elephant toothpaste
Zoo cookies-they are supposed to look like zoo cages
Jungle safari in the tub
There were many animals to find with in the vines (spaghetti noodles)
The vines got out of controls and the kids were taken over by them
Swamp search-they had to find the swamp animals
This was a mixture of water, shaving cream, and jello ice cubes
Beginning letter stamping
Matthew did animal addition
Safari Max
This is Matthew at just a little older than Max
When we went to the zoo the kids had zoo passports. When they saw an animal from the passport they put an animal sticker on that page.
They loved them
Field trip to the zoo
