Last Day of Kindergarten

Like starting kindergarten wasn't hard enough, his last day was super hard too.  I don't want him to be gone all day next year, we miss him when he is gone.
Last day of kindergarten, holding his first day of kindergarten picture.
This makes me sad, this was last year, his last day of preschool, look how little he looks.

 First Day, August 2013
He was so cute, this is the look on his face when he saw that not only Nine was there with Mommy, Daddy, Max, and Molly, but Bo bo, Uncle Steve, Ti ti, and Logan.  He was so excited to see them there too.
The kids sang songs and did some poems, it was adorable.  What a great way to celebrate a year of school.

They did the poem "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten."  A few kids had reading parts, here is Matthew waiting for his turn.

Mrs. Meredith (2nd teacher) and Matthew-His teachers split the week, one was there Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, the other was there every other Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Since I helped on Wednesdays I got to work with both of them.
Mrs. Stopka and Matthew-Mrs. Stopka was the sub at the beginning of the year from August to December because Mrs. Peterson was on  maternity leave.
His Young Author award and book
 Kindergarten award
and his ribbons
I included these for Grant, he made fun of me for trying to up my creativity on our teacher gifts when I heard another mother talking about what she got them.

This sign was made of Legos

The fountain there was a big hit as you can imagine
Especially when we said they could go in it.

Max loved it

This was made of Legos too.

Acting like royalty

This fountain was across the street, I let them play in it.
We didn't get to play long, because in the short time we were there, 3 wedding parties came to take pictures.  The brides got right in their to take the picture in the center.
