I loved his facial expressions going around this ride.

 Feeding the birds was popular
Logan's looks says-why are we in this room with these birds flying around?

Mikayla was an expert at getting the birds to come on the stick

Beautiful Weather

The weather has been so wonderful lately, I am trying to do as much outside as we can.  Before we know it, it will be cold out.
On Tuesday we went for a walk around a forest preserve near our house.  I showed the kids where Grant proposed to me.  Molly couldn't believe it, she kept saying, "so right there?"

The kids love looking for things in the water, especially shells.  We actually lucked out and found two, empty ones of course.
On Friday Matthew had off of school, so we went to Waterfall Glen in Darien.  It was really pretty there and we had fun once we got off the prairie path that was 4 miles one way in the hot sun with 3 kids.  We drove around to the parking lot closer to the waterfalls.

Max thought the waterfall was cool
A bunch of people on a little rock looking for minnows.

After this excursion Matthew was wet from the waste down, Molly from  the knees down.

This was the other end of the tree they were sitting on.

Max was doing some pull ups.  He's pretty strong

Matthew's class has a stuffed bear that goes home with a different kid each weekend.  This weekend we had Bruce, so Bruce is in the picture with them here.  Luckily, Bruce made it back completely dry.  Had he gotten wet Matthew actually has the same bear so if needed we would have swapped out Mr. Cuddles (Matthew's bear) for Bruce.
